Pilea: Need to know care tips

Pileas seem to be finding a place in the hearts of plant lovers everywhere! Learn about their light needs, when to water them, and how and when to repot them in this video.

Pilea peperomioides is also known as Chinese Money Plant, Friendship Plant, UFO Plant, and Pancake Plant (among other common names.)

Once hard to find and quite pricey, Pileas are enjoying a surge in popularity that is making them easier to find and more affordable too! I found mine in the part sun section at a local nursery in Houston called JRN. I’ll make another video on propagating it soon!

So do you have a Pilea? Let us know where you’re located, whether you’re growing it indoors or outside, and any tips that may help others in the comments below!
