Repotting 1-year old Mammillaria gaumeri cactus seedlings…with an orange cat

I’m repotting these 1-year old Mammillaria gaumeri cactus seedlings under the careful supervision of Melvin, an orange cat who showed up in our lives last fall. They needed more room to grow than the seed tray could offer.

I’ll water them deeply at least twice a week after waiting a week or so after repotting them.

Also in the tray: Faucarias, Copiapoa maritima, Gymnocalycium ochoterenae v tenuispinum, and a volunteer Dorstenia foetida
