Progress update: Lithops and Argyroderma 5 months later – I made a couple videos about these last fall, and this is the third video made 5 months later showing the progress since.


1: Talking about oversized Mesembs and how to keep them alive

2: Repotting them in good soil

As you can see in this video, while life seems to go quite fast and a lot of things can happen in the time it takes these types of plants to reveal new leaves, – I bought these last Halloween – waiting for Mesembs to split and reveal new leaves is very slow. And though it seems like they’re relatively inactive from our point of view, a wonderful and curious transformation is happening within. Patience is learned, and more often than not for me, plants are my teachers.
