Fun fact: Many Aeoniums smell truly awful! You might have one for years, like me, who one day reads that some Aeoniums smell bad, like you just did, and say to yourself, “Hm! I have an Aeonium. I have never noticed it to have an odor, but let’s go give it a big sniff! Let’s get all up in there and do the leaf rub smell test!” like I did.
